RULES & RESTRICTIONS
1. Smoking is NOT allowed in the home or on the deck.
2. People other than those in the guest party set forth above may not stay overnight in the property. Any other person in the property is the sole responsibility of guest.
3. Keep the property and all furnishings in good order
4. Only use appliances for their intended uses
5. Car and Boat Parking: Parking is not limited. Vehicles are to be parked in the driveway only. Mitchell’s Marina and Parkway Marina's are the closest marinas. It is best to take your boat right there and Parkway Marina will let you leave your trailer there for a nominal fee. Our driveway is a half circle at Summer Lane and there is access from both sides. Journey's End is a long straight driveway with not much room for turning a large boat around. Tradewind Terrace you can park at the top of the driveway on the gravel area. Please do NOT park on the grass area that is our septic system. There is also a boat ramp for use in the Mountain View Shores community. Ask for the key if staying at Tradewind Terrace.
6. Housekeeping: There is no daily housekeeping service. While linens and bath towels are included in the unit, daily maid service is not included in the rental rate. We suggest you bring beach towels. We do not permit towels or linens to be taken from the units.
7. CLEANLINESS: Renter agrees to maintain the cleanliness of the premises during the occupancy & to leave the premises clean and in good condition upon departure. Wipe off kitchen counters and stove, place dirty dishes in dishwasher and start wash cycle, clean grill, remove all opened food items and wipe out refrigerator. Unopened food may be left for cleaning staff to remove.
8. TRASH: Trash needs to be kept at the end of the driveway on at Journey's End ( Cans are NOT to be removed) and at Summer Lane the cans need to be pulled up to the road Friday for pickup and brought back Saturday after trash removal. Tradewind Terrace the cans have to be pulled up to the mailbox on Friday night and returned on Saturday.
9. DOCK: No boat lift usage. Use cleats on the dock to secure boat. Kayaks and paddle board must be placed back on the dock and paddles returned to the cabana.
10. HOT TUB: No children under the age of 5 are permitted in the hot tub. Children age 5 & above are permitted in hot tub with adult supervision. You should not stay in hot tub for more than 15 minutes. For safety keep hot tub locked at all times except when in use. When using the hot tub, remember there is a certain health risk associated with this facility. Use at your own risk. DO NOT STAND ON THE HOT TUB COVERS. Hot tub covers are for insulation purposes and are not designed to support a person or persons. They will break and you may be charged for replacement. Remember when not using the hot tub, leave cover closed so hot tub will stay warm. In the summer if the temperature gets too hot you can leave the cover open for a few hours to drop the temperature. Please close cover before you go to bed at night and lock it.
11. WATER & SEPTIC: The property is on a well and septic systems. The septic system is very effective; however, it will clog up if improper material is flushed. These systems are very dependent on your proper use. Place nothing down the drains (grease, etc) except liquids. DO NOT FLUSH anything other than toilet paper. No feminine products should be flushed at anytime. If it is found that feminine products have been flushed and clog the septic system, you could be charged damages.
12. Fireplaces are not to be used in the house. Outdoor fire pit is available and wood provided for you. Tradewind Terrace may use propane fireplaces in the winter.
13. NO pets allowed.
14. NO parties or events.
- CHECK IN & CHECK OUT time in the off season is usually anytime but exact times will be communicated to you prior to check in. In the event there is a renter checking out the same day you are checking in, your check in time at Journey's End will be 3 PM and at Summer Lane checkin is 4:00 PM. At Tradewind Terrace 4:30 PM.

This unit is privately owned; the owners are not responsible for any accidents, injuries or illness that occurs while on the premises or its facilities. The Homeowners are not responsible for the loss of personal belongings or valuables of the guest. By accepting this reservation, it is agreed that all guests are expressly assuming the risk of any harm arising from their use of the premises including but not limited to the waterfront, hot tub, and swimming area also including others whom they invite to use the premise.
